An indication that the student has been identified as an emergent bilingual (EB) student by the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC), or English proficient.
EMERGENT-BILINGUAL-INDICATOR-CODE indicates whether the student has been identified as an emergent bilingual (EB) student/English learner (EL) by the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) or is non-emergent bilingual/non-English Learner (non-EL) (19 TAC §89.1220), according to criteria established in 19 TAC §89.1226.
