FOSTER-CARE-INDICATOR-CODE indicates whether a student is in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) currently, or for a prekindergarten student that was previously in the conservatorship of DFPS, or for a prekindergarten student that is or ever has been in foster care in another state or territory, if the student resides in this state (Texas).
