State Performance Plan Indicator 14 (SPPI-14)

The SPPI-14 collection is used to gather data for students with disabilities enrolled in grades 9-12 who have exited from a local education agency (LEA) and have a leaver record with certain exit withdraw types (see below) as reported in the PEIMS Fall Submission (1). The purpose of this collection is to send a Post-School Outcomes Survey. The survey is used to inform stakeholders, such as educators, parents, and legislators, about the effectiveness of educational programs and student outcomes for youth who are no longer in secondary school and had an Individual Education Program (IEP) in effect at the time they left school in accordance with 20 U.S.C 1416(a)(3)(B).
