The AskTED Announce List is used by the TEA TED administrator to send district and ESC TED administrators periodic information concerning AskTED, such as any changes to AskTED and tips on updating district, school, and personnel information in AskTED.
The AskTED District List is used to send official notifications to district and superintendent email addresses.
The AskTED Campus List is used to send official notifications to school and principal email addresses.
TEA creates the AskTED Announce list from the email addresses of district and ESC TED administrators in AskTED. You must be a district or ESC TED administrator and listed in AskTED to be included in the AskTED Announce List.
There are other mailing lists, including a Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) list, available to all at TEA Mailing List Administration. The PEIMS List will provide periodic information concerning the PEIMS Data Standards, the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook, and general information concerning the creation, management, and submission of PEIMS data.
No, the superintendent’s personal email address is not displayed publicly, unless the district chooses to use it for the district email address. For any AskTED report that lists superintendent information, the district email address is provided. The superintendent's personal email address may be used by other divisions internal to TEA for official communications.
